We are excited to share that beginning in the 2025–2026 school year, Rotolo Middle School will be implementing a new math curriculum: Eureka Math².

This decision comes after a thorough and collaborative evaluation process led by a team of experienced math teachers and administrators. Their goal was to ensure that any new curriculum would not only align with academic standards but also support student success in meaningful and measurable ways.

Eureka Math² was selected because it offers a strong focus on deep understanding and mastery of math concepts, a clear, coherent progression of skills from unit to unit, and engaging lessons that promote student thinking and problem-solving.

We encourage families to explore the Eureka Math² online resources to begin familiarizing themselves with the program.

Thank you for your continued partnership and support. We are confident that this new curriculum will provide an engaging, rigorous foundation for student learning and long-term success in math.

Locker Issues

All locker issues have been repaired and updated in Powerschool. There were a couple students that had new lockers assigned. They can move into their new locker on the first day. The new locker info is in PowerSchool. The main office has the old information if needed.

Parking Lot Information

No parent vehicles are allowed to enter the back lot for any reason during school hours of 7:00-3:30. All cars need to use the Raddant Road entrance.

Please be aware to not block any driveways, intersections, or crosswalks.

If you would like to drop your student off at the back of the school please drop off on Barkei Road.

Bus Routes

We wanted to send a quick reminder to please be sure to double-check your student’s route number, bus stop location, and pick-up/drop-off times the day before school starts.

For 7th and 8th grade students, ROUTE #’S may be different from last year. It’s also important that your student boards the bus at the stop they are officially assigned to. Students are not allowed to ride any other bus than the one they are assigned. Non-bus riders will not be able to ride a bus for any reason.

As always, students should be outside at least 5 minutes before their scheduled pick-up time, as buses are not required to wait until the exact time and may arrive a few minutes early.

Parent Information

Please review our parent information guide here. These policies have been created to reduce disruptions to the educational environment, increase safety and allow for effective utilization of staff.

Lunch Drop Off: Parent lunch drop offs from fast food establishments or restaurants are not allowed under any circumstances. If food is delivered it will be held until the end of the day and your student will be provided with a meal from the cafeteria. External delivery options such as UberEats, Grubhub and similar platforms are also prohibited. Thank you for your continued support in creating a positive secure learning environment for our students.

Early Pick Up: We will not be accommodating any early dismissals for students after 2:40PM due to the limited staff availability to assist with student departures. Please arrange to pick up students prior to 2:40 if they need to leave before the end of the day.
