Souper Bowl of Caring
This February, help our schools as we participate in the “Souper Bowl of Caring” week, February 2nd-February 6th. The Souper Bowl of Caring is an annual event that encourages businesses, organizations, and schools to raise food donations for local food banks. Like last year, we are excited to see our students join Batavia United Way in our mission to tackle hunger and support our local community. From February 2 – February 6, we will be collecting ready-to-eat soup (not condensed) at our school to be donated to the Batavia Interfaith Food Pantry. All donations will be weighed at the food pantry by East Side Schools/West Side Schools, and a friendly competition will ensue. Who will bring home the ultimate title of SOUPer Bowl of Caring Champions- the enthusiastic East Side or the wondrous West Side? When will the winner be announced? Of course, on Superbowl Sunday!
