RMS Messenger for November 18, 2022
It is hard to believe it is already time for our fall break. We wanted to take a minute to share our gratitude for all trusting us to work with your students each day. It is a responsibility we do not take lightly. We are thankful for the ways you continue to show support for our staff throughout the first semester. We hope you and your families enjoy the extended time with family and friends this break.
This is just a reminder that students and teachers are off on Wednesday through Friday (November 23- November 25) next week. There will be no Messenger sent out next week.

Family Art Night:
RMS Art Teachers are inviting students and their families to a night of art creation. Please visit this page for more information. Sign up by today to save your spot.
Student Council Toy Drive:
Do you enjoy the gift of giving on a special holiday? If so, our Student Council members are sponsoring the annual Batavia Access Toy Drive. The Toy Drive will run from November 28th to December 8th, so while you doing your Black Friday shopping be sure to pick up a gift to donate! Items we will be collecting are toys, games, puzzles, books, hats, gloves, mittens, and gift cards. All items must be new and be in a package. Drop off items in front of the main office, and help others make their holidays magical as well!
Yearbooks:
Yearbook is looking for your photos! Please help support our yearbook by providing photos of our students or staff members at events for the 2022-23 school year through this form (https://bit.ly/2022YearbookPhotos). We are looking for sports, music, club, and field trip candids from all grade levels. Thank you for your help and email julia.thornton@bps101.net with any questions!
Yearbooks are for sale now through PowerSchool! When you log into PowerSchool, go to “payments” and hit the “pay now” button, from here select “add optional items” where you can add a yearbook to your student’s account. Yearbooks will be handed out the last week of school. This is your ONLY opportunity to purchase a yearbook, we will not be selling extras at the end of the year so make sure to buy your yearbook before December 21st, 2022
8th Grade Yearbook Ads
Who: All 8th Grade Parents
What: NEW THIS YEAR – Can purchase a best wishes ad for your student to be placed into the 2022-2023 yearbook – can include photo(s)/note(s)
