Superintendent Search Survey Reminder
Earlier this week, the District sent a Messenger inviting all stakeholders to answer a questionnaire to collect your feedback. The BPS101 Board would like your input as they begin their search for a new Superintendent to lead our district. They will use the information gathered from focus groups and a questionnaire to help create a leadership profile of our next Superintendent. The questionnaire will remain open for all stakeholders through Wednesday, Oct. 5th. It is available in English or Spanish. The Board thanks you for your effort in helping them with this important task.
IAR Reports
Next week, you will be receiving an Individual Student Score Report with your child’s results from the Spring of 2022 administration of the Illinois Assessment of Readiness (IAR). Please see the Partners in Achievement page of Curriculum and Instruction on the district website for more information on assessments and interpreting the score. If your child does not receive a report, there is no cause for concern, as this likely means your child did not complete testing.
The IAR Parent Portal is now available for parents/guardians. The IAR Parent Portal User Guide is available and has information on how to create an account and log in to access student scores. The portal will also allow parents/guardians to track their student’s scores from year to year, beginning with the spring 2021 results.
The video score report communicates information from the ISR through animations and a voiceover in Illinois’ seven most common languages: English, Spanish, Polish, Arabic, French, Urdu, and Gujarati.
