National Junior Honor Society
RMS is excited to announce that we will be continuing our National Junior Honor Society program with the induction of new students this Spring. NJHS began in 1929, eight years after the start of the National Honor Society organization, to recognize students who excel in middle schools around the nation based on the five pillars: Scholarship, Service, Leadership, Character, and Citizenship. All students are invited to fill out the student activity form and turn it in by January 18th, 2022 at the end of the school day (3:15 PM). Once students are selected through the process of a faculty committee and inducted during the ceremony on April 5th, we will continue meeting until the end of the school year and pick up again in the fall. 7th and 8th grade Girls Basketball Information/Registration
Rotolo Middle Schools 7th and 8th grade girls basketball season will be starting in January. Evaluations will start on January 10th, specific times will be sent out in December. For all 7th and 8th grade girls interested in playing basketball they must have a current physical on file as well as register for athletics. Physicals are good for 13 months. Additional students must register at https://rms.bps101.net/athletics/, by December 17th. If you have any questions please contact Josh.Bulak@bps101.net.
Order your Yearbook
Don’t forget to order a yearbook on PowerSchool. Go to “payments” and hit the “pay now” button, from here select “add optional items” where you can add a yearbook to your student’s account. Yearbooks will be handed out the last week of school.

Student Water Bottles
This is just a reminder that our water fountains at school are only available to fill water bottles. Students are unable to get a drink from them as they would have in the past. Please remind your child(ren) to bring water bottles to school with them. Thank you!
Clubs and Activities

Preschool Lottery 2021-2022
The lottery for the Batavia Early Childhood Center is now open and will close at 3 PM on January 21, 2022. Children must be 3 years old by September 1, 2022 to be eligible for the lottery.
