Fall Break
We want to take a minute to wish everyone a relaxing Fall Break. Our office will be available by appointment only on Wednesday and closed Thursday and Friday. If you have any questions or need assistance please email tara.piatek@bps101.net. Activity Buses will not run next week
Get ready for the RMS Battle of the Books Trivia Night!
On Monday, February 23rd at 7 PM, teams will face off at the Batavia Public Library to see who knows the most about our 10 battle books. Think you’ve got what it takes? The team with the most correct answers takes home the win!
Grab 3–4 friends and sign up using the Google form.
Our first meeting is Dec. 3rd (3:00–4:00) in the LRC, and we’ll meet again on Jan. 28th (3:00–4:30) for our yearbook photo. Contact Dr. Wolf with any questions.
Coffee with the Principal
We will have Coffee with the Principal on December 3rd at 9:00AM. We will be discussing our safety protocols and procedures. A link will be shared on the school calendar for those who need to join virtually.
Ski Trip
The downhill ski trip has been scheduled for Alpine Valley Resort in Wisconsin. Students may ski or snowboard, and can bring their own equipment or rent. ONLY 7th and 8th graders are allowed to join us for the trip. If you have never skied or snowboarded before, your student will be required to sign up and complete a lesson prior to using the lift ticket. Our trip will be on Saturday, January 10th. It will be an all day ski trip – we will leave at 7:00 am in the morning from RMS and will be back about 7:00 pm. The form to sign up will be located on the Activities and Clubs Page of the RMS website and will be accessible Monday, December 8th at 12:00 pm. The form must be filled out by a parent or guardian. This trip will be filled using a LOTTERY SYSTEM. If the form is not accepting responses, the lottery count is full. You will receive notice if your student made the trip by email as soon as the lottery count is full.and all payments will be required by Monday, December 15th at 3pm through My School Bucks to hold your student’s spot on the trip.
Student Pick Up
Please use only the diamond lane in front of the school for student pick-up. Picking up students in the through-lane to the parking lot has created congestion and unsafe situations for our students. When entering the diamond lane, pull all the way up to the first diamond and avoid leaving gaps between cars. Thank you for helping keep our students safe!
Bulldog Micro Pantry!
We’re excited to share that RMS started a Micro Pantry right outside our main entrance! This pantry will be stocked daily by NJHS with shelf-stable food items and essentials for any families in our community who may need a little extra support.
The pantry will be available 24/7 — anyone in our community is welcome to stop by and take what they need.
How You Can Help:
Please share this with families who may need support outside of our Rotolo community. Additionally, families who would like to contribute can donate non-perishable food items or paper products during school hours. Donations can be dropped off in the collection bins located just inside the main entrance. Your support will help keep the pantry stocked and available for those who need it most.
