Course Request Information for 2024-2025 School Year for Current 6th and 7th graders
Hard to believe it is time to start planning for next year. The Power School portal is open for parents and students to select their Exploratory courses for the 2024-2025 school year. The portal closes on Monday, January 29th. On the RMS website, under Parents, click on Course Requests to find links to the information you will need to complete this process including a video with step by step directions and contact information should you have any questions.

Advisory
Our Advisory themes for February are Flexibility and Emotional Intelligence. Students will participate in lessons about friendships, empathy, and social media. Ask your child how they can apply these skills at home and in the community!
Nurses
Are you or anyone you know a nurse ready for a change in your work environment? If so, we have amazing opportunities for you. Join our health services team at Batavia Public Schools and help shape the future for students. You would be helping students stay healthy, and safe, and achieve greatness at school. We have two openings within the district for licensed RNs. One would be per diem as an RN substitute for the district. This would allow you to work when needed. The other opening is for a permanent RN sub position. This would be a full-time position with the option to take benefits (medical, dental, vision, and a pension). You can work your student’s schedule – no weekends, holidays, or summers. To apply for these and all other positions open at BPS101, please visit our Human Resources Department page on our website.
Icy Conditions
Thank you to our maintenance staff who have worked tirelessly to ensure our property is safe. While every effort is made to ensure the sidewalks are clean and safe, there may be instances where students will need to use extra caution. On days that are extremely icy, we recommend parents drop students off at the front of the building instead of Barkei and Papermill.

Call for Nominations!
The Batavia Foundation for Educational Excellence and BPS101 are now accepting nominations for the 2024 Hall of Honor! Do you know of a BHS Alum, Staff Member, or friend of the District who has demonstrated excellence in their field and/or commitment to service to BPS101?
