You are invited to participate in the parent survey supplement of the Illinois 5Essentials Survey. Your participation in the parent survey will help us understand the conditions at your child’s school and guide improvement. We guarantee that survey responses will never be connected to the identity of you or your child. School reports will only show aggregated information on how parents and students responded as a whole. 8th Grade Graduation Signs

For those that would like to order the 8th grade yard signs for your graduates now is the time. The fee has been updated to powerschool. It is $8.00 a sign and you are able to order more than one if needed. 

To order through powerschool:

  • Go to payments
  • Add additional items
  • Add optional items
  • Add 8th grade yard sign 
  • Check out cart

8th Grade Dinner Dance

Dinner dance invitations will go out next Friday 3/22. Keep an eye out and make sure those are returned by May 10th. Payments will be made for the dance through powerschool as well. The dance is $40 per student. The fee has been placed in your powerschool account. If your student does not attend it will be removed. If there is a financial conflict please reach out to heather.mendel@bps101.net. Additional donations can be brought to the main office. We are also accepting gift card donations of $5-$10 in the main office for the student raffle.

Fox Trot Run/Walk

Batavia Mothers’ Club Foundation will host their annual Fox Trot 5k/10k & kids races (1/4 mi & 1 mi) on Saturday April 27th at 8AM. More race details here: https://www.bataviamothersclub.org/events/fox-trot-run-walk/

Batavia Activity and Athletic Foundation Camps

BAAF is running camps over the coming months for Golf, Softball, and Strength & Conditioning. 7th and 8th Grade students can sign up for the camps at the following link. All camps will be run by BHS Coaches. Please reach out to Athletic Director Adam Lester with any questions. Adam.Lester@BPS101.net

Color Run 5K

Come join us on May 11th at 9 AM for a Color Fun Run at Rotolo! NJHS is hosting this fun non-chipped 5K to support Batavia United Way as well as fund a club service project. Police Training Drills

On Wednesday March 27th and Thursday March 28th, the Batavia Police Department will be performing Training Drills at Rotolo Middle School. This is only a training session. Please do not be alarmed by their activities in the school or on the school grounds.
