MAP Testing
Your child will be participating in MAP (NWEA) testing on September 9th (Math) and 10th (Reading). Please be sure your child comes to school with a fully charged Chromebook.These assessments are vital in helping us measure student progress, identify areas of strength and growth, and inform our instructional practices.
On the district assessment webpage, you will find detailed information about the specific assessments your child will be taking this year, including when each assessment will be administered throughout the year and its objectives. We appreciate your support in ensuring your child’s academic success. We encourage you to review the information on the district Assessment webpage and to reach out to your child’s school principal if you have any questions or concerns. Your involvement in your child’s education is crucial, and we are grateful for your support.
BHS Football Games
All elementary and middle school students are required to have a parent present at the game for the entire evening. Here are the BPS policies for Football games. Thank you for your cooperation.
Parking Lot
For everyone’s safety, you’ll notice a new cone layout in the front parking lot. Cones will now be placed down the center line of the entrance. The front area is two lanes only—one lane for entering and one lane for exiting. Please do not attempt to drive down the middle.
We also ask that you:
- Avoid blocking the stop sign intersection on Raddant.
- Stay mindful not to block driveways or the crosswalk that students use to cross Raddant.
- Make sure that you are not driving through the back lot during the school day for any reason

Coffee with the Principal
Our first Coffee with the Principal will be Wednesday at 9AM in the RMS cafeteria. We will have an overview of the year, introduce you to our new administrator and take some time to answer questions you may have. Make sure you bring your ID and check in at the front desk.
