Locker Move In
On Tuesday, August 5th, RMS students and parents will be able to come to school anytime between 9:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. for the following:
- Locate locker assignment and practice combination
- Purchase physical education uniforms if needed
- Purchase yearbooks
- Locate their classrooms throughout the building from their schedule
- Have a school picture taken. They will be here from 9:00-4:30
- Drop off any medical or health forms
Locker Decorating Guidelines
Students are allowed to use the locker shelves and the magnetic pencil holders and mirrors.
- Nothing battery operated can be put in a locker
- No LED lights
- No sticker wallpaper
- No stickers
- Nothing that is permanently attached
- Nothing that is offensive or disruptive to the learning environment
School Supplies
School supply lists for the 2025 school year can be found on the RMS website or by clicking the link here. There are no school supply kits offered for this school year.
There are currently no school supplies listed or 8th grade students for exploratory classes. The students will be told if there is anything needed at the start of school.
6th Grade Welcome

⏰ Time: 9:00–11:00 AM
Transportation Details:
- If your student qualifies for bus transportation, they should ride their assigned bus from their regular stop. Bus information will be available in PowerSchool by August 4th. Pick up times will be one hour later than what’s listed in Powerschool. Drop off times will be four hours earlier than listed in Powerschool. (For example: 7:24am pick up will get picked up at 8:24am, and 3:19pm drop off will get dropped off at 11:19am).
- If your student walks, bikes, or is dropped off by car, they should use their typical transportation method at the times listed above.
- All car drop-offs must enter through the Raddant Road entrance.
RMS Girls Flag Football is Back!
We’re excited to kick off another great season of RMS Girls Flag Football! Sign-ups open on August 5 using the registration link here!
- Season runs Sept. 2 – Oct. 24
- Practices: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays after school
- Scrimmage games vs. West Chicago (Dates TBD)
- Open to all 6th, 7th, and 8th grade girls
- No experience needed!
- Cost: $40 (scholarships available)
It’s a great way to get active, learn the game, and have fun with friends. We can’t wait to see this year’s team take the field!
