5 Essentials Survey
I wanted to take a minute and ask that everyone consider completing the 5Essentials survey this week. It is the only real place we have for official feedback from parents. If you have students at multiple schools you can fill one out for each building. In order to see any of the results we have to meet a threshold of 20% participation. Here is why it matters:
- I need your voice to make RMS a better place.
- The survey gives us a unique perspective on questions we rarely have time to ask.
- It is a great way for us to compare how teachers, students and parents view similar issues.
It doesn’t take an excessive amount of time and will provide us with so much information that can help our school. Is your child interested in the High School dance team? The dance team will be hosting clinics at RMS in the east gym on Wednesday 3/12 and 3/26 from 3:30-5:30. All 6th-8th graders are welcome to join! We will go over pom technique, learn a side line dance and practice the skills required for tryouts. Dancers should wear athletic attire and bring gym shoes, jazz shoes, and a bottle of water. Email Coach Marks with any questions- ryanne.marks@bps101.net
My School Bucks
For the rest of the 2024-2025 school year, RMS will begin using the district’s new payment platform, MySchoolBucks. To prepare for this change, all RMS families must follow the steps below to set up a MySchoolBucks account. During this transition period, some invoices for field trips, extracurricular activities, and end-of-the-year events may be sent through the new system. Balances owed in PowerSchool for past charges must still be paid in PowerSchool.

Lost and Found
Lost and found will be collected at the beginning of the day on March 28th to donate. We have many hoodies, lunch boxes, water bottles, and more. The front office has smart watches, earbuds, headphones, and a few house keys. After that point, we won’t be able to retrieve any missing items.
2025 Bulldog Bounce Information
Hey RMS Parents! Our annual Student Council sponsored Bulldog Bounce is happening on Friday, March 14th! Please complete this form to purchase tickets in advance from now through 8am on Monday, 3/10. We have some pretty amazing events planned-including a DJ, concessions, sports, and games of all kinds.
We are still in need of donations! If you could please sign up on the attached sheet. We appreciate the support in helping make this event a success. we will be accepting items until Wednesday next week.
RMS Track
Please see attached information about RMS Track season. The first day of practice for boys is March 17th and for girls is March 18th. Any 7th or 8th grade student is welcome to join the team.
