Reminders for Student Drop Off/Pick Up
Overall our student drop-off line has been running smoothly, but we want to share a couple of reminders. If you are driving students to school, the main entrance off of Raddant Road is the primary drop-off location. However, we realize this can become very congested, so some alternatives to this are dropping off on Norcross Drive near the path that leads right to RMS. In addition, you can drop at the corner of Papermill Hill and Barkei Drive, and students can walk up the sidewalk on Papermill to school. Please do not enter the large parking lot near the cafeteria/athletic entrance, as this is where our buses drop off students. Entering this lot to drop off students creates safety hazards for students and buses. When entering the drop-off lane, pull as far forward as possible to ensure cars can pull up behind you. Make sure students are ready to exit when you enter the parking lot to minimize wait time. Thanks for your cooperation with this!
Spirit Wear Clothing Drive
Batavia Interfaith Clothes Closet is looking for donations of new or gently used spirit wear of youth and adult sizes. These items would go to anyone in Batavia who would have access to it for free in an effort to support and encourage our Bulldogs of all ages to feel included. (and, we can keep it out of landfills as a bonus). The Clothes Closet has graciously offered to provide a spirit wear space! The Spirit Wear Drive will run from 9/12-9/30. Donations can be dropped off in the Main Office at RMS.
Batavia Music Buffs:
The Batavia Music Buffs is a 501(c)3 booster organization supporting music in all of Batavia’s public schools from elementary to middle and high school. We have begun our Fall membership drive, and we’d like to invite you to become a member today. Anyone can be a member – parents, past students, grandparents, faculty, staff, friends, etc. Being a member does not involve any volunteering (unless you’d like to). It simply means that you are financially helping to bridge the funding gap that exists in the district for music. Based upon the membership tier you select you will be eligible for some fun swag from a member magnet, lanyard and/or tote bag to a wooden Batavia Music ornament for the highest tier! Visit our website to join www.bataviamusicbuffs.org/membership and/or to get one of our awesome new metal music yard signs www.bataviamusicbuffs.org/shop
